New York
City Root Canal Changing Your View
Of Root Canals
Whether it's New York City root canal, an
Atlanta root canal, Los Angeles root canal, or London root
canal
the basic principles are the same. A root canal is really a
simple dental procedure.
Of course many root canals are done at the time of a
toothache. That means you aren't excited about this procedure
even if it is a New York city root canal. You just want some
pain relief.
Unfortuanely root canals have for years been associated with
pain because of the pain being experienced at the
time of treatment.
This is unfortunate because most root canals are performed
with a minimal amount of discomfort. Whether it's a New
York City root canal, an Atlanta root canal, Los
Angeles root canal, or London root canal you can usually save
your tooth with a painless root canal treatment.
Although millions of teeth are saved each year with root
canals most people aren't sure what a root canal really
is. Even people who have had a root canal are confused about
what the dentist did to save their tooth.
Here is an explanation of a New York City root canal,
Atlanta root canal, Los Angeles root canal, London root canal
or any other city. It really doesn't matter where the root
canal is performed because the principles for
success are always the same.
When a tooth needs a root canal it is because the dental
pulp is either inflamed or infected. The pulp is the soft
tissue on the inside of the tooth. It contains nerve tissue and
small blood vessels. Once this tissue becomes infected or badly
inflamed it must be removed.
To remove the diseased pulp a small opening is made in the
tooth. Special root canal instruments are used to
clean the diseased tissue and create a space for a root canal
filling. Once this filling is placed the root is sealed and 95%
of the time there will be no further problems with the
tooth.
After the root canal treatment has been completed the top
part of your tooth will need a permanent restoration.
If you had a molar root canal you will
most likely need a crown on the tooth. This will help protect
your tooth from a fracture in the future.
I have never done a New York City root canal, Atlanta root
canal, Los Angeles root canal, or London root canal.
But I have performed thousand of root canals in the past 20+
years as a root canal specialist. I've heard the many questions
and concerns that patients have about root canals.
That's why I wrote the short book, The Relaxed Root Canal. In this book
I answer over 80 questions about root canal treatments.
|
In addition to answering more than 80
questions about the dental root canal I will
also give you the one question you
should ask your dentist before having your root
canal treatment.
I'll also give you my recommendation on what
to do if you get the wrong answer to this
question.
